Paul Avery aka “Brewman” has been charged with serving 10 years of good beer to patrons. At World of Beer he insists his customers only receive the best beers and therefore makes a wide variety to meet everyone’s needs. It must be working, there are 5 locations in the Tampa area and over 70 locations in the Worldwide offering more than 500 beers AND they are celebrating their 10th anniversary! 

Paul Avery is the current CEO/President of World of Beer, a growing national brand serving craft beer, tavern fare, live music and good times with friends. Prior to joining the World of Beer team, Paul was with OSI Restaurant Partners for 22 years and helped grow the small local restaurant group to a multi-billion dollar internationally known brand.  Paul developed his career with OSI from a local area partner, to President of Outback Steakhouse (domestic and international), Carrabba’s Italina Grill and Bonefish Grill. He also served on the OSI Board of Directors.

Paul currently serves on the BOD for SunTrust Bank-Tampa Bay, Health Innovations Insurance, Employment Policies Institute, Front Burner Brands and the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance. He is the President of the Advisory Committee of the American Beverage Institute. He is also a trustee for Paul Smith’s College in NY.

Paul lives in Florida with his family. He is an avid outdoors-man who enjoys the pursuit of excellence!
