Crime: Hijacking the Airwaves with GREAT NewsKendall Kirkham and Michael Clayton aka “The Dynamic Duo” has been charged with Hijacking the airwaves with GREAT news. Every morning the Tampa Bay area is glued to their televisions to see what The Dynamic Duo will do next! They are stealing the hearts of thousands daily with their wholesome entertainment and their goal it to take over the world! Kendall Kirkham the co-host of “Great Day Tampa bay” with Michael Clayton, weekdays form 9 to 10 a.m. on WTSP. She is brand new to Tampa Bay, and came from WMC Action News 5 in Memphis, TN, where she served as morning co-anchor for three years. There, Kendall was nominated for an Emmy for her women’s instructional self-defense series, “One Last Move.” She and her colleagues “went viral” online after their behind the scenes dancing videos on set and gained millions of views online. They even nabbed the attention of TMZ and Cosmopolitan Magazine. Kendall is most proud of her work telling stories at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, including the courageous patients and their families, and the miracle workers who work tireelessly toward finding a cure for childhood cancer. Prior to her stint in Memphis, Kendall served as co-host of “Tulsa Live,” a mid-morning lifestyle show at KOKI in Tulsa, OK. Kendall is a proud Texas native. She grew up in the Fort Worth area and graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Radio/TV/Film. She has dabbed in all forms of media, including interning for E! Entertainment and The Ellen DeGeneres Show in Los Angeles. In her spare time, Kendall enjoys exploring the beautiful sights, sounds and eats of Tampa Bay with her husband Jason and son Knox. Michael Clayton, who was drafted in the first round by the Buccaneers in 2004 and finished second in rookie of the year voting, is an analyst and regular contributor for both the NFL Network and the Big Ten Network. He is also the president of the Tampa Bay chapter of the NFL Alumni Association. A married father of three, Clayton is actively involved in local causes with his Generation Next Foundation, which is a non-profit organization aiding local charities around the Tampa Bay and Baton Rouge it mainly focuses on the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile and the Tampa Bay Pediatric Cancer Center and which helps at risk youth transition from the State of Florida foster care system and into independent living. Clayton holds the annual Michael Clayton Celebrity Hoops Jam, a celebrity basketball game, to raise money for the foundation. He joined Great Day Tampa Bay, a daytime variety show focused on Florida lifestyles and the latest in local arts, entertainment and cuisine, in March 2016.
