Meet Gavin!

Meet 14-year-old Gavin. This sweet boy was born healthy and happy. Sadly, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy after a sudden brain hemorrhage. He suffers from daily seizures. He cannot walk or stand and depends on his family for everyday living skills. Gavin manages to be happy despite his tragic circumstance.

Gavin has a few interests. His favorite cartoon is Scooby Doo. He listens to all types of music, but his favorite song is “Let it Go” from the Disney film Frozen. He enjoys simple outings such as car rides or visiting the park. Most of all, Gavin loves playing with his siblings. Gavin has a great personality, too. He is described as being very chill—nothing bothers him. He has a goofy sense of humor and laughs at everything. Meet Gavin. He illustrates how to remain cool even during the bad times. He is our hero and inspiration.

Gavin needed a ramp for his house. He uses a medical stroller and the ramp will make it easier and safer to leave the house. His old ramp was starting to rot and he now has a new aluminum ramp thanks to Harmar and Home and Mobility Solutions. Special thanks to the Tony Stewart Foundation for being his sponsor!
