This Giving Tuesday…
Wheelchairs 4 Kids is inviting the community to make dreams come true by supporting “A Night of Waves and Wheels”, a fully inclusive prom experience for teens we serve through our Wheely Fun Days inclusion program.
For many children with physical disabilities, traditional school dances can feel overwhelming, inaccessible, or isolating. A Night of Waves and Wheels changes that narrative – creating a beautiful, completely accessible prom where every teen is supported and surrounded by friends who understand their journey.
The event will take place on April 11th, 2026, at SeaWorld Orlando, giving our incredible Wheel Kids a night to celebrate academic achievements, friendships they’ve forged, and the simple joy of being a teenager amongst their peers.
We are anticipating up to 125 teens, with one guest each (250 total attendees).
The evening will feature a dinner and formal dance inside SeaWorld’s elegant Ports of Call Ballroom. Hair and makeup will be provided by the talented students of Bene’s Career Academy, helping each teen feel beautiful and confident.
The experience continues the following day with a trip to SeaWorld, giving our kids the chance to enjoy rides, shows, and fun with their friends that they have made at a multitude of inclusion events that have been hosted by Wheelchairs 4 Kids.
