Meet Jack!

Meet seven-year-old Jack. He was sadly diagnosed in 2020 with brain cancer. He endured many months of chemotherapy and radiation. These treatments and cancer caused Jack to have limitations. He lost much of his balance and cannot walk without assistance. He remains upbeat despite his difficult condition.

Jack has numerous interests. He likes watching Disney shows and movies, especially anything in the Marvel universe—his favorite character is Spiderman. Jack listens to a variety of music, but his favorite is dancing to the best song ever, Thriller by Michael Jackson. He has more interests, but a great personality is the best part of this young boy. He is a kindhearted child who adores his family. He goes through a lot and celebrates each victory.  Jack is a courageous warrior who has endured enough to break an adult, but he continues through life with a smile. He is an inspiring example of bravery through adversity. He is our hero.

Jack received a Freedom Concepts therapy bicycle to improve his leg strength and balance, during our Christmas presentation at the Tarpon Turtle, thanks to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Academy’s cast of “Little Shop of Horrors” and the Scaife Foundation. Jack can now have fun riding his bike, while receiving the exercise he needs!
