Meet Jadzia!

Meet 13-year-old Jadzia. Jadzia was diagnosed with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy when she was three. She experiences left side weakness in her legs and requires a wheelchair and other mobility devices for assistance. Jadzia is also non-verbal and has several developmental delays.

Despite Jadzia’s challenges, she remains a happy girl who is always smiling and making others laugh. Jadzia is most relaxed when she is around water, whether it’s at a pool, the beach, or bath time. She enjoys playing with toys that make noise and light up, or her collection of plushies. Jadzia also likes listening to YouTube’s Super Simple Songs and her favorite is “Baby Shark.” Jadzia’s name translates to “royalty.” Although she may not be a real queen, she is the queen of our hearts!

Jadzia received a Rifton therapy bike. This bike will help strengthen her legs while also providing her with a fun way to exercise and be independent. Special thanks to Baycare for being her generous sponsor!
