Meet Yael!
Yael is a joyful and resilient 13-year-old boy who never lets life’s challenges dim his bright spirit. Despite being diagnosed with cerebral palsy and experiencing seizures from the age of three months, he remains happy and determined in everything he does. Yael is able to communicate through smiles and energy, even though he is non-verbal. He enjoys watching YouTube videos with lots of colors and music, which bring him joy and excitement.
Yael’s favorite activities revolve around movement and motion. He loves rolling on the floor and playing with toy cars or anything that moves or rolls. Although he is limited to sitting and rolling independently, he is determined and strong enough to take a couple of steps with maximum assistance. His persistent nature inspires everyone around him as he continuously finds creative ways to engage with the world around him.
Yael’s family describes him as happy, strong, and determined — qualities that shine through despite his physical limitations. While he faces the need for a specialized wheelchair to support his mobility, his positive spirit is boundless. His resilience is a reminder that joy can prevail in even the toughest circumstances.
