Meet Axel!

Twelve-year-old Axel may face big challenges, but his joyful personality shines through it all. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Axel is fully dependent for daily activities and is unable to speak—but his smile, energy, and unique spark speak volumes.

Axel can’t attend school due to hip issues that make sitting impossible, but that doesn’t stop him from learning and engaging with the world in his own incredible way. His family describes him as happy, loving, and smart—with an amazing ability to understand things, even when no one has taught them to him.

He enjoys calm music, animated movies, and especially loves Home on the Range and Ferdinand. Though he doesn’t like crowds, Axel loves outings to the park or mall when it’s quiet, where he can take in the sights and sounds of the world around him.

Right now, Axel’s biggest need is a proper wheelchair to give him greater comfort and help him participate more in family activities and outings. With your support, we can help make life a little easier—and a lot more joyful—for this remarkable boy and his loving family.
