Meet Brandon!
Brandon is a loving, social, and disciplined 19-year-old whose warm personality makes friends wherever he goes. He loves meeting new people and can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Brandon enjoys playing video games—especially Mario Bros.—reading science fiction books, shopping trips to Target, and eating his favorite meal, spaghetti. His favorite color is green, and he has a special fondness for giraffes.
Brandon lives with Ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T), a rare progressive disorder that affects coordination, mobility, and other body systems. Although he can walk with assistance for only short periods of time, he continues to face challenges with determination and a positive spirit.
A therapy trike would provide Brandon with a fun and meaningful way to stay active, build strength, and enjoy greater independence. More than just a piece of equipment, it would give him opportunities to explore, exercise, and participate in activities that bring him joy.
