Meet 19-year-old Bruno. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and has several challenges resulting from the illness. He is cognitively underdeveloped and nonverbal. He is also dependent on his family for everyday tasks. Bruno has one great thing in his life, love.
Bruno has limited interests due to his disability, however, his favorite pastimes have one thing in common. They all involve dad. Bruno does not care to watch television, unless he is sitting next to his dad. They also have an adorable game. Dad will pretend to be a scary monster that stalks Bruno. The game ends with tons of hugs and kisses, and Bruno wants to play again. Bruno’s father is very in tune with his son’s needs just by seeing the boy’s body language. The amount of love between this father and son is unsurpassed. The dad described his boy as beautiful, but could not talk any longer as he was filled with emotion. There are many types of teams in this world. The example of Bruno and his dad reveal the best kind of all. They are the home team, and they always defeat an illness in the game of life.
Bruno needs a tilt wheelchair to provide more sitting positions and better comfort. The equipment will also reduce the chances of pressure sores. Please be his sponsor!
