Meet Edgar!
Edgar is a bright and loving 17-year-old who brings joy to everyone around him with his constant smile. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Edgar is incredibly smart and understands so much of what is happening around him. He communicates by nodding, shaking his head, and making sounds, always finding ways to connect with those he loves.
He enjoys listening to Bad Bunny, watching soccer—especially cheering on Real Madrid and his favorite player, Ronaldo! Edgar also loves fried plantains and has a special bond with his siblings, whether he’s playing with them or enjoying time on his tablet. While school can be challenging at times, especially subjects like math and science, his determination and spirit shine through.
Edgar is 100% dependent on others for mobility, and a lightweight power wheelchair would greatly improve his independence and quality of life. This equipment would allow him to explore more of the world around him, participate more fully in activities he enjoys, and continue sharing his bright smile wherever he goes.
