Meet Eitan!

Eitan is a sweet and resilient 9-year-old who brings so much joy to his family each day. Though he functions at an infant cognitive level and is nonverbal, Eitan communicates through his expressions, laughter, and the way he responds to the people and world around him. Described as great, marvelous, and precious, he works hard every day to learn and experience new things, showing strength and determination through every challenge.

Eitan loves bright, colorful cartoons and especially enjoys the movie Trolls. Music plays a big role in his life—he enjoys all types, and classical music during his school time helps him relax. One of his favorite things is movement, especially when visiting the park where he can safely enjoy a special swing. At home, some of his happiest moments are spent with his family—whether they’re pushing him in his wheelchair down the hallway or making him laugh with tickles.

Diagnosed with Lissencephaly at just 4 months old after experiencing frequent seizures, Eitan is 100% dependent on others for all activities of daily living. Despite these challenges, he continues to inspire those around him with his strength and spirit. Eitan is in need of a specialized wheelchair to support his mobility and allow him to safely enjoy more of the world around him.

Eitan Receives His New Wheelchair!

We are thrilled to share that 9-year-old Eitan has received his brand-new specialized wheelchair!

Living with Lissencephaly, Eitan depends on others for all of his daily needs. Having the right wheelchair is essential for his comfort, safety, and quality of life. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Eitan now has a wheelchair designed specifically for his needs, giving him improved positioning, support, and mobility.

This new wheelchair will make it easier for Eitan to participate in family outings, enjoy time at the park, attend appointments and school activities, and experience the world around him with greater comfort and security. Most importantly, it will help him continue creating special memories with the people who love him most.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this gift possible. Your kindness has provided more than just a wheelchair—you have given Eitan greater opportunities to engage with his world and enjoy the childhood experiences every child deserves.

Thank you for helping us change lives, one wheelchair at a time.
