Meet Gadiel!
Gadiel is a joyful 20-year-old whose smile can light up any room. Described by his family as “God’s gift,” he wakes up happy each day and brings that same bright spirit to everyone around him. Though his cognitive level is similar to that of a toddler, Gadiel connects with the world in his own beautiful way—through smiles, movement, and the simple joy of being outside.
Gadiel loves all things colorful and engaging. His favorite shows include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Bluey, and he especially adores the movie Finding Nemo—he even has a giant Nemo stuffed friend he cherishes. Music is a big part of his life too, with a special love for gospel music that brings him comfort and happiness.
One of Gadiel’s favorite things to do is get out and explore. He enjoys going for walks, visiting splash parks, and feeling different plants and textures around him. He thrives on movement and doesn’t like to stay indoors for too long—being out in the world is where he’s happiest.
Gadiel is in need of a wheelchair that will allow him to safely and comfortably enjoy the activities he loves. A proper wheelchair will be life-changing for Gadiel and his family, giving them the ability to take him out into the community more easily and continue creating meaningful moments together outside their home.
