Meet Joseph!
Joseph is a bright and beautiful 9-year-old boy who brings joy to everyone around him. Born with Spina Bifida, Joseph has already undergone four surgeries in his young life, but he continues to face every challenge with a courageous heart and a determined spirit. Though he has no strength below the knees and cannot stand, Joseph doesn’t let that stop him from exploring his world. He crawls and scoots with enthusiasm, especially when he’s playing with his cousin — together, they build roads and race toy cars in a world powered by imagination.
Joseph is wonderfully shy but full of personality, with a loving nature that shines through in everything he does. His favorite color is blue, and he treasures his Paw Patrol blanket and Woody plush toy, which keep him company during quiet moments. Joseph adores stories, especially the ones his mom makes up just for him. He finds joy in everyday adventures like trips to the mall, where the sights and sounds bring excitement to his day.
Despite the physical challenges he faces, Joseph continues to amaze his family with his intelligence, adaptability, and big heart. He may be shy when speaking, but those who know him can tell you just how much love and strength he carries within him. Now, Joseph is in need of a wheelchair to help him gain more independence and comfort as he continues to grow and thrive.
