Meet Maria!

Meet five-year-old Maria. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, which causes several challenges for the little girl. She is cognitively underdeveloped and nonverbal. She also cannot bear weight on her legs. She does important exercises on her legs and cries during the painful process. Maria, despite this frustration, remains happy throughout the day.

Maria is joyful from sunrise to sundown. She wakes up in the morning with a smile, ready for a fun day. She enjoys listening to soothing songs. She even likes making her own music on a tiny keyboard.  Maria plays with a variety of dolls, and each is in her favorite color, pink! She also loves going to school and seeing all of her friends and teachers. Maria does these activities and more, but as the day ends only one thing really matters. Her heart. She is a loving child. Maria constantly showers her mom with hugs and kisses. She wants to cuddle during bedtime. For this brave girl, however, the sun never sets and it forever shines brightly in the sparkle of her eyes and in the warmth of her kindness.

Maria needs a manual wheelchair to provide improved postural support, comfort, and mobility. Please be her sponsor!
