Meet Adaya!

Meet 7-year-old Adaya. Adaya has a rare and progressive genetic disorder known as spinocerebellar ataxia type 7. One day she started having violent tremors and after a genetic testing she was finally diagnosed. Because her condition is progressive, she has started losing feelings in her legs and cannot walk.

Despite Adaya’s challenges, she remains a loveable and friendly girl who adores the whimsical Disney Princesses, especially Moana and Elsa. Before her diagnosis, she remained active by being involved in karate and ballet. Adaya loves to play with her Barbie dolls and Play-doh. Adaya is an intelligent girl with a great memory and a heart of gold, and the most important thing to her is the love of her family.

Adaya needs a Tilt Manual Wheelchair to improve sitting support and comfort while providing a safer environment for her and her family. Her current chair is too difficult to travel with. This chair is crucial for her to be able to attend doctor appointments and physical therapy. Please be her sponsor!
