Meet AJ!
Meet eleven-year-old AJ. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and has a challenging life due to the illness. He is nonverbal but can express his feelings through sounds. He cannot walk or stand without assistance. AJ is determined to be a happy boy despite these limitations.
AJ has many interests. He likes the series Veggie Tales and its fun soundtrack. He watches the Cat in the Hat movie but really loves listening to his family read him all of the Dr. Seuss books most of all. AJ loves outings with family. Visiting the Aquarium and Seaworld are a few of his favorite spots to go. He is very empathetic, when someone is upset or angry around him, he feels it just as strongly as they do. AJ is loving and very gentle. He cares deeply about everyone in his life and wants them all to be happy. AJ is the definition of an inspiration to us all. He will overcome any obstacle that dares to stand in his way.
AJ needs a therapy tricycle to assist with building the strength he needs in his legs to hopefully walk one day. This equipment will also allow him the same equality that all children have of enjoying life and the freedom of being outside with friends and family. Please be his sponsor!
