Meet Alana

Alana is an adorable 3-year-old with a diagnosis of congenital disorders of glycosolation type 1A.  This condition causes severe delay in gross motor skills and low muscle tone, so she is unable to walk independently.  Alana loves it when mom reads her Fancy Nancy stories, and she enjoys watching Trolls.  Her favorite food is cheese sticks, and she has a blast playing tea party with mom.

Alana’s therapist has recommended a gait trainer to assist Alana in mobility.  This will also help improve her muscle tone and coordination.  Most of all, this important piece of equipment will give her more independence as she continues on her journey to hopefully walk one day!  Please be her sponsor!
