Meet Binyamin!
Meet eight-year-old Binyamin.
Binyamin was diagnosed with Aicardi-Goutières Syndrome (AGS), a rare condition that affects how the white matter in his brain connects and functions—similar in some ways to cerebral palsy. His family learned of his diagnosis after he missed several early milestones. Though Binyamin is fully dependent on help, his spirit is full of energy. He can’t speak, but his facial expressions say it all—he knows how to show you exactly what he’s feeling. He’s emotional, fun-loving, and craves action and movement in any form.
Binyamin loves going on walks in his wheelchair and doing therapy sessions that get his body moving. He enjoys happy, upbeat music and will light up to a good tune. He doesn’t watch TV, but he loves books of all kinds. His favorite animals are bunnies, and he especially enjoys visits to farms and petting zoos.
To help build his strength and give him more independence, Binyamin needs an adaptive therapy tricycle. It will allow him to experience movement in a new, exciting way while supporting his physical development. Please consider sponsoring Binyamin. With your help, he can keep moving toward a brighter, more active future.
