Meet Carson!
Meet thirteen-year-old Carson! Carson is a determined and affectionate young man who enjoys tactile sensory toys, books, and spending time with the people he loves most. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at just one year old, Carson continues to approach life with personality, resilience, and joy.
Carson loves watching baseball and football, especially while cheering on his older siblings from the sidelines. He also enjoys NASCAR races and listening to rock music during car rides with his mom. One of his favorite places in the world is Nana’s house, where they share special moments. Carson is incredibly expressive; his facial expressions and signature eye rolls always make it clear exactly what he’s thinking. Recently, he’s begun collecting Mario toys, adding a fun new hobby to his growing interests.
Carson is currently in need of a bathroom modification to convert his existing shower into a safe, accessible roll-in shower. His current bathing setup is no longer functional and creates significant physical strain for his caregivers. A roll-in shower would greatly improve Carson’s comfort, safety, and independence while easing the daily challenges faced by those who care for him.
