Meet Ciandra!
Meet 12-year-old Ciandra. She was born a healthy girl but was not meeting typical milestones around age two. She was three years old before being officially diagnosed. Ciandra was diagnosed with spastic paraplegia. She does not have much muscular movement and depends on her family for many everyday life skills. She has more challenges in her days than most, but her heart remains strong.
Ciandra has several interests. She is a horror movie fan, and Annabell is her favorite film. Ciandra has lots of siblings that keep her house in motion, and she sometimes likes to escape the noise by listening to soothing meditative music. She also enjoys leisurely strolls at night with her family. Ciandra’s favorite food is anything that her mom cooks on the grill. This young girl is more than the sum of her interests. She has a great sense of humor and can make people laugh just by her expressions. Ciandra’s strength is shown by her everlasting smile and unbreakable spirit. Ciandra is perfect in all the ways that inspire us all.
