Meet Damia!
Meet 16-year-old Damia! She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Lennox Gas Taut Disorder a severe form of Epilepsy. She is non-verbal and has poor muscle tone. Damia has more challenges, but she stays happy and active.
Damia has many interests. She is a huge fan of the Lakers specifically Lebron James! She likes looking at picture books and also enjoys listening to rap music. Damia is very active and likes going to the nearby park, and like playing in the water. Most of all, she absolutely adores her family. She wants nothing more than to have everyone in one room so she can see them and give them all hugs. Adriana is known to be a Caring and funny girl, too. She is an inspiration to everyone she meets.
Damia needs an adaptive tricycle to improve her balance and decrease spasticity in her legs. She can also have a wonderful time riding the trike outdoors going for walks with her family! Please be her sponsor!
