Meet Dylan!

Dylan is a fourteen-year-old sports fanatic. At only four years old, Dylan was diagnosed with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy. Despite his diagnosis, he has not let it stop his love for the game, and he continues to play basketball and baseball adaptively.

Dylan is very involved in his community; he is the team manager for his school sports teams and is a part of Future Farmers of America. He spends a lot of time watching sports; his favorite teams include the Chicago Cubs and Boston Celtics. He loves going to Buffalo Wild Wings and eating wings while watching the games. Dylan is an incredibly smart student with a 4.0 GPA whose favorite subject is math.

Dylan received a new power wheelchair because his old wheelchair no longer fits him adequately. Thanks to our generous sponsor, Scaife Family Foundation,  we have made a huge impact on Dylan’s ability to continue to play adaptive sports and navigate his community comfortably.
