Meet Elena!
Meet Elena! She is 6 years old and is a social butterfly. She loves watching baseball with her grandpa and is a fan of the New York Yankees. Elena has a right hemiparesis, secondary to an ischemic stroke. This has caused Elena limited range of motion and muscular isolation of her right arm and leg.
Elena is a huge fan of Paw Patrol and Taylor Swift. Her favorite place to visit is the Tampa Children’s Museum and enjoys swimming. Her cat and dog keep her company when she isn’t trying to get her hands on a book to read.
Elena received her adaptive tricycle which will help her increase her range of motion and overall strength. The tricycle will give Elena a new kind of independence since she is unable to use a regular bike.
