Meet Emelia!

Meet 16-year-old Emelia, better known by her friends and family as Mia. Mia was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome at the age of one, when she started having continuous seizures. She received unique treatment, involving CBD, which proved to be extremely successful. Mia is able to walk with the assistance of a stander, but due to her weak core, she requires a medical stroller for distance.

Mia is described as a charismatic young lady. She has a glow about her that everyone loves! She enjoys the simple pleasures of going on walks, playing at accessible parks, and going to the movies. Mia is a fan of popular Disney movies, and her favorite TV show is the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Emelia’s family gave her the nickname “Sweet Mia,” because she is never in a bad mood and remains positive in all situations. She is truly an inspiration to all who meet her!

Mia is in need of a Convaid medical stroller. This stroller will provide her with proper trunk support that is required for her needs. It is also lightweight and can easily be used for transport. Please be Mia’s sponsor!
