Meet Emma!

 

Meet 4-year-old Emma.  Diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, she is unable to walk.  This devastating disease affects her voluntary muscles and lungs.

Emma is both social and verbal.  This smart, sassy little girl enjoys coloring and playing with play dough.  She also loves the singer “Adele”.

Emma recently received a new mobile stander and she loves it!  Her new stander will help prevent contractures, fractures and will promote weight bearing, while giving her independence.  So happy for Emma!
