Meet Frida!
Meet twelve-year-old Frida! Frida is a happy, brave girl who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at a young age. Despite the challenges she has faced throughout her life, Frida continues to face each day with strength, resilience, and a bright smile.
Frida loves spending time outdoors, especially listening to the birds, which helps her feel calm and relaxed. One of her favorite activities at the park is swinging while enjoying nature around her. She also loves music and enjoys listening to the many different songs her mom plays for her. Her absolute favorite, however, is the music from the Argentinian animated children’s show, El Payaso Plim Plim on YouTube.
Frida has received her new tilt wheelchair through the generous support of Variety – the Children’s Charity. Her previous wheelchair had become too small, affecting her posture, comfort, and mobility. This new customized chair provides the support she needs to move safely and comfortably at home and school, helping her gain greater independence and improve her quality of life.
