Meet Geoffrey “Gage”!

Meet eleven-year-old Gage! Gage is a caring, kind-hearted boy who loves helping others and making everyone around him feel welcome. Gage was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at just five years old. Despite the challenges of his diagnosis, he is always ready to lend a helping hand and brighten the lives of those around him.

Gage loves watching classic ’80s movies, with Smokey and the Bandit, Ghostbusters, Scooby-Doo, and Knight Rider among his favorites. He enjoys listening to country music, especially Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen. Some of his favorite places to visit include riding his four-wheeler to his grandparents’ house, shopping at Target, and stopping at Buc-ee’s during family road trips. When it comes to food, you can always count on Gage to order steak and shrimp at his favorite steakhouse. He also enjoys swimming, playing with his RC cars, riding his electric bike, and spending time with his beloved Goldendoodle, Millie, who is just as devoted to Gage as he is to her.

Gage needs a power wheelchair to safely maintain his mobility as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy progresses. He is no longer able to walk more than short distances without experiencing increased fatigue, decreased stability, and a greater risk of falls. Your sponsorship of Gage’s power wheelchair will make a life-changing difference by providing him with safe, reliable mobility, allowing him to conserve his energy, remain independent, and continue participating in the activities he loves.
