Meet Grace!
Meet sixteen-year-old Grace! Grace is a loving, easygoing girl who has a passion for music. Diagnosed at birth with Down syndrome, Grace also experiences hypotonia, decreased endurance, and challenges with balance and mobility. Despite these challenges, she is kind to everyone she meets and never fails to put a smile on the faces of those around her.
Grace loves the color pink, collecting princess dolls, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite song is “Diamonds” by Rihanna, and one of her favorite things to do is visit the park and swing while enjoying nature. She also loves dancing, gymnastics, and, of course, her favorite meal: chicken nuggets and French fries from McDonald’s!
Grace needs an adaptive tricycle to help prevent further physical decline, promote improved strength and mobility, and support her overall health and independence. She is unable to safely ride a commercially available bicycle due to limitations in strength, flexibility, and motor control.
