Meet Hailey!
Meet four-year-old Hailey! Hailey is a happy, strong kid who always has a smile on her face despite being diagnosed at birth with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, and Scoliosis.
Hailey enjoys being outside, listening to music, and lying on her tummy while playing with toys. Her favorite song is You Are My Sunshine by Christina Perri. She seems to like the color red the best, and she is very determined to get the things she wants.
Thanks to the generous support of the Lightning Community Hero Award, Hailey received an adaptive tricycle that provides her with a fun and developmentally appropriate way to stay active. The tricycle will help strengthen her lower extremities, improve her cognitive and motor skills, and give her greater opportunities to play, exercise, and enjoy increased independence.
