Meet Javien!
Meet nine-year-old Javien! Javien is so full of joy that it shines through in everyone around him. You can see it in the smiles and admiration of those who know him best. Although he was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy at just one year old and experienced developmental regression due to neglect, Javien continues to let his heart of gold shine brightly with the love and support of his new forever family.
Javien’s favorite thing in the entire world is Bluey. He loves interacting with Bluey in every way possible, watching episodes, singing Bluey songs with his family, collecting Bluey toys that make silly sounds, and reading Bluey books. It’s no surprise that his favorite color is blue! When he’s not enjoying something Bluey-related, Javien loves playing with his two dogs, visiting family, and spending time outdoors.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Speer Dream Foundation, Javien received a new medical stroller that provides safe, reliable transportation for medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings. This stroller will make it easier for his mom and primary caregiver to safely transport him while allowing Javien to continue enjoying the activities and experiences he loves.
