Meet Jireth!
Meet nine-year-old Jireth! She is a sassy, silly girl who loves spending time with her classmates and making everyone around her laugh. At just six months old, Jireth was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Despite the physical challenges she faces, Jireth is determined to be involved in every game, conversation, and moment of fun with her peers and teachers.
Jireth especially enjoys it when her teacher and classmates sing silly children’s songs filled with sound effects and funny voices. Her favorite song is I Will Chomp You. While she doesn’t have a favorite food, she loves pretending to drink coffee and energy drinks just like the adults around her. Some of Jireth’s favorite activities include blowing bubbles, racing her classmates, and collecting fun shoe and hair accessories.
Jireth is in need of a new tilt wheelchair, as her current donated wheelchair is worn out, no longer fits properly, and is falling apart. A properly fitted tilt wheelchair would provide the physical support and positioning she needs to safely participate in daily activities, both at school and at home.
