Meet Jordan

Meet Jordan, who was diagnosed with Ullrich congenital muscular dystrophy which affects the muscles that Jordan uses for movement making him very weak. This 7 year-old boy walks with a leg brace, but only for brief periods of time. He is required to use a power wheelchair for long distance mobility.

Jordan enjoys reading the Chronicles of Narnia and R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps. Jordan is also a huge Star Wars fan. One of Jordan’s favorite activities is munching on ice cream sundaes while playing checkers at Cracker Barrel.

Wheelchairs 4 Kids is collaborating with First Hand Foundation to provide a Freedom Concepts adaptive tricycle for Jordan. The specialized tricycle will facilitate Jordan’s stamina and leg strength.
