Meet Joshua!

Meet 12-year-old Joshua. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He has endured several surgeries on his hands and legs as a result of his illness. He needs help with simple daily tasks, including eating. Furthermore, he is confined to a motorized wheelchair.  Joshua remains active and positive despite his challenges.

Joshua likes a variety of cool pastimes. He listens to country music by Blake Shelton. Joshua sings and plays drums with his sister. His favorite outing is spending a day at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Most of all, he LOVES baseball. His favorite movie is Rookie of the Year. He never misses a Miami Marlins game and collects the team’s memorabilia. Joshua even plays in the Miracle League, which is baseball adapted for disabled children. He has numerous trophies showing his love for the league. Joshua, however, does not need trophies to prove that he is special. This determined boy wins hearts simply with his smile.

Joshua is using a generously donated power chair.  Unfortunately, it is too big and uncomfortable. He needs the chair to have modifications for a better fit and improved posture. Please be his sponsor!
