Meet Katherine!

Meet two year-old Katherine. She journeys through a long and difficult road. She was diagnosed with atypical Rett’s syndrome and epilepsy. Katherine uses an electronic assistive device to communicate. She cannot walk or operate a wheelchair. The complexities of her disability make the simplest of pleasures important.

Katherine is always ready for story time. A familiar voice telling a tale or two transports her to other worlds free of disease. Katherine also loves being serenaded. Sweet songs sung by either family or friends, broadens her beautiful smile.

Wheelchairs 4 Kids is working to get Katherine a Freedom Concepts adaptive tricycle. The trike will help to improve her muscle strength and stamina. Please be a sponsor!
