Meet Khrystyna!

Meet twelve-year-old Khrystyna! Khrystyna is a cheerful, curious girl who loves to dance and sing. At just six months old, Khrystyna was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder and lifelong form of epilepsy in which seizures can be triggered by fevers. By the age of five, she was experiencing up to 200 seizures each day, which significantly impacted her development and progress.

Khrystyna loves listening to music and expressing her creativity through art. She enjoys dancing, singing, drawing, completing puzzles, fishing, and playing with her toys. Her favorite musical artists are KPop Demon Hunters and Victoria Niro. Khrystyna is not a picky eater and enjoys all kinds of food, including pizza, French fries, Kinder Surprise, dumplings, and ice cream. Her favorite places to eat are Raising Cane’s and McDonald’s.

Khrystyna needs an adaptive tricycle because her neurological condition makes it unsafe for her to ride a traditional bicycle independently. An adaptive tricycle would provide the stability and support she needs to safely build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and develop functional mobility while enjoying an activity she can share with others. Your sponsorship will make a life-changing difference by giving Khrystyna greater opportunities to be active, participate socially, and enjoy greater independence and quality of life.
