Meet 18 year-old Kyle, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic quadriplegia. These conditions cause many obstacles. Kyle uses a motorized wheelchair that he controls with his head. Kyle also uses an Eye Gaze communication device. This young man persists with a positive attitude and exceptional ambition despite his challenges.
Nothing surpasses Kyle’s drive to succeed. He loves the excitement of playing video games. Someday Kyle would like to transform his passion into a career as a game designer. He has also been a competitor in the Special Olympics, racing his power wheelchair. The loudest cheer was heard from his loving grandma when he won two gold medals.
Kyle needs a lightweight manual wheelchair to help with transport. The new chair will make life easier for Kyle and his family and help him to get to dr.’s appointments and out in the community.
