Meet one-year-old Liam, who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. The illness causes many tribulations for the sweet boy. He can breathe only with a ventilator. Independent mobility and sitting without support are also impossible for Liam.
Liam watches fun cartoons, and he especially relates to Doc MCStuffins. The delightful series is about a little girl who uses a magical stethoscope to help cure ailing toys. The best doctor for Liam, however, is his devoted family, who describe Liam as the love of their lives!
Wheelchairs 4 Kids will be providing an early intervention adaptive mobility device for Liam. This adaptive stroller/wheelchair will allow Liam to get the proper support he needs and allow his family to get him around easier to doctor’s appointments as well as outside for fresh air and therapy.
