Meet Lian!
Meet 12-year-old Lian.
Lian was diagnosed with cerebral palsy shortly after birth and spent his first week of life in the NICU. Since then, he has required full-time care and support from his loving family. Though he is completely dependent on others for daily needs, his spirit remains bright.
Lian is best described in two words: happy and solo. He smiles often and finds comfort in his own company. While he no longer speaks—having lost the ability after a seizure—his joy shines through in his expressions and calm presence. He enjoys watching Dora the Explorer and is especially captivated by anything with cars or monster trucks. When it comes to food, Lian eats only pureed meals, but he’s not picky—he loves it all, from chicken to potatoes to yogurt.
To support his comfort, mobility, and participation in daily life, Lian needs a manual wheelchair. This specialized equipment will help his family move him safely and give him access to the activities he loves, both at home and at school. Please consider sponsoring Lian. With your support, he can continue exploring his world with the same quiet joy and resilience that define him.
