Meet Nadia!
Meet four-year-old Nadia! Nadia is a bubbly, smart little girl who loves to read and explore the world around her. At birth, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Despite the challenges she faces, Nadia’s bright personality shines through in everything she does.
Nadia loves watching Blue’s Clues, Sesame Street, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. She enjoys reading Pete the Cat books and listening to K-pop Demon Hunters. Some of her favorite activities include going to the waterpark, spending time at her grandparents’ house, blowing bubbles, and watching the Lakers with her stepdad. And if you’re looking for Nadia at a restaurant, you can almost always find her enjoying her favorite treat, French fries!
Nadia needs an adaptive tricycle because she does not yet have the motor skills needed to independently propel a traditional tricycle. An adaptive tricycle would provide her with the necessary support to develop reciprocal motion, build strength, improve coordination, and strengthen her motor skills while giving her the opportunity to experience greater independence and mobility.
