Meet Nidal!
Meet five-year-old Nidal! Bright, joyful, and full of determination, Nidal has the heart of a true fighter. At just one year old, she was diagnosed with Congenital Disorder of Glycosylation (CDG), a rare metabolic disorder that affects many aspects of her development and mobility.
Nidal loves spending time on her iPad watching educational shows, listening to children’s songs and calming music, and watching her beloved black Labrador, Shadow, play. She also enjoys collecting squishy toys, visiting water parks, and blowing bubbles.
Because of her CDG diagnosis, Nidal faces challenges with balance, coordination, and mobility, making it difficult for her to ride a traditional bicycle. An adaptive tricycle would provide the support she needs to safely enjoy outdoor activities, build independence, and participate more fully in play with family and friends.
