Meet Tanner!

Meet 10-year-old Tanner. Tanner’s parents realized that something was wrong shortly after his birth. He was an unhappy baby who cried a lot and slept little at night.  Tanner was 11 months old when he was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. The illness creates several trials for the young boy. He is dependent on his family for many tasks. He is now happy and strong despite the daily challenges.

Tanner is not limited with his interests. He watches the animated series Teen Titans Go, and his favorite movie is Trolls World Tour. He is also a fan of DC and Marvels films. Tanner is a big video gamer and he hopes to eventually own a Playstation 4 one day. The young boy used to enjoy visiting Disney World, but now the theme park is frustrating since they removed many accessibility options. Tanner is a hard-working school student, too: his favorite topic is science. Tanner even plays baseball in the Miracle League, an organization created to help children with disabilities participate in sports. Clearly, the young boy is determined to have a fun childhood. He hits a home run with each smile, and we are all in his cheering section.

Tanner needs an adaptive tricycle to improve his overall strength and stamina. The trike will also be an outlet for him to have a great time outside. Please be his sponsor!
