Meet Teddy!
Meet 2-year-old Edward “Teddy”. He was diagnosed with H.I.E. (Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy) at birth. He has defied the odds of an H.I.E. child. Teddy has more challenges, but remains the light of life for everyone he meets.
Teddy has several interests. He is a huge fan of all things Baby Einstein including movies, and Classical music. He likes looking at picture books and also enjoys listening to his mom read stories. Teddy is very active and likes playing on the swings at a nearby park. Most of all, he absolutely loves playing in the water, splashing mom and dad. Teddy is an adorable little boy who is becoming more independent every day. Teddy, even though he is quiet, he inspires everyone and makes our world a better place.
Teddy received his therapy trike just in time for Christmas! He can now go for rides with mom and dad, exercising his legs and gaining much needed muscle strength. What a great gift from Santa and EIP!
