Meet William!
William is a 12-year-old boy diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a neuromuscular disease that strikes primarily boys, and they usually don’t live beyond the age of 30. Despite his challenges, William is a determined yet soft-spoken young man with a big heart.
William enjoys playing Minecraft and listening to country music. His favorite subject in school is science. He spends a lot of time with his dog Roller, his best buddy.
William’s disease is progressing, and his mom is struggling getting him in and out of the tub in the bathroom. This family desperately needs a roll-in shower installed to make his bathroom safer and more accessible. Please be his sponsor!
