Meet Ruby!
Ruby is a bright and beautiful 17-year-old with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines. Known for her sweet, calm nature and social personality, Ruby brings joy to everyone around her. Whether she’s helping out in the classroom or greeting friends with warm hugs and smiles, she lights up every room she enters.
Ruby loves music, and you’ll often find her clapping and shouting with excitement when a familiar song comes on. She enjoys watching Barney and music videos, and nothing makes her happier than a trip to the mall—especially if it means adding a new purse to her growing collection! Though she has some physical challenges and speaks only a few words, Ruby is full of life and enthusiasm, especially when she’s around other kids.
To support her continued safety and independence, Ruby is in need of a specialized shower chair. She has experienced seizures while bathing, and while she’s been lucky to avoid injury so far, this equipment would provide her with the secure, private bathing experience every teen deserves. With her calm demeanor, loving heart, and joyful spirit, Ruby is truly one of a kind!
