Meet Rylan!

Meet seven-year-old Rylan. This brave boy has endured insurmountable trials in a short amount of time. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He also had a devastating stroke in 2017, which created more challenges. Rylan now has numerous limitations. He is cognitively impaired and nonverbal. His mobility and functional capabilities are highly limited, and he needs assistance with daily living skills. Rylan, despite his disability, remains happy.

Rylan has a few interests that are simple but still important for his childhood. He focuses heavily on old and new music as if trying to comprehend the meaning behind songs. He has a pet kitty who is always there for a cozy cuddle. Rylan’s favorite activity, however, is interacting with other people—he enjoys being social and smiling at everybody. The best interaction is with his daddy. They will snuggle together while dad reads to him educational children’s books. Ryan is described by his family as a good boy. Rylan takes every challenge with a positive attitude—he does not know the word grumpy! In short, the disabled child is perfect in all the ways that matter.

Rylan needs an activity chair to provide support and comfort while he spends quality time with his family. Please be his sponsor!
