Meet Samuel D!

Samuel is an energetic and loving 11-year-old boy who lights up every room he enters. His bright personality and infectious smile make it easy to see why everyone at school adores him. Samuel is social and sweet—always ready to share with others and make new friends. He enjoys spending time playing video games like Mario Bros. His favorite subject in school is math, and he’s always up for a good puzzle or numbers challenge. Samuel’s room is decorated with his all-time favorite character, Mickey Mouse, showing just how much he treasures the magic and fun of his favorite movie.

Samuel has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a diagnosis that began to unfold when his first-grade PE teacher noticed he couldn’t run like the other kids. Although his mom had seen signs like frequent falls and poor balance, the official diagnosis brought clarity and helped guide his care. Today, Samuel can walk only very short distances inside his home and requires a wheelchair for mobility. A lightweight power wheelchair would give him the independence and comfort to keep enjoying his favorite activities, like visiting amusement parks—Sea World being one of his recent adventures—and shooting hoops when his mom takes him to the basketball court.

Success Story: Meet Samuel!

Thanks to incredible and generous support of the Queen Of Hearts, Samuel now has a lightweight power wheelchair—and it’s opened up a whole new world of freedom and fun!

Diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Samuel relies on a wheelchair for mobility, and now, with his new power chair, he can explore, play, and enjoy adventures like visiting Sea World or shooting hoops with his mom. ✨

This gift means more than mobility—it means independence, confidence, and more joy in every day.

Thank you for making a difference in Samuel’s journey!
