Meet 15-year-old Yael. He was diagnosed with Hurler’s Syndrome, a genetic disorder that affects the nervous and skeletal system. Yael also has an undiagnosed condition. He has bravely endured numerous surgeries on his back, knees, and hips. He cannot walk and needs support to stand. Yael, despite his limitations and difficult illnesses, is a happy boy.
Yael has several interests. He likes playing the video games, Mario Dodgeball and Sonic. He enjoys sitting and relaxing inside his own little pool. His favorite activity, however, is being in his pajamas and watching Mickey Mouse or Barney on YouTube. Most of all, Yael is joyful. He is always smiling, especially when hanging out with his family. He loves giving them hugs, kisses, and cuddles. Yael has difficult illnesses, but the strength of his heart is limitless!
Yael needs an adaptive stroller to provide proper support and comfort while making transportation easier. The stroller will also give him more opportunities to take walks outdoors with his family. Please be his sponsor!
