Meet Yeshua!
Thirteen-year-old Yeshua R. is the kind of kid who lights up a room with his big heart and even bigger smile. Born on January 3, 2012, Yeshua faces the daily challenges of cerebral palsy and hypoxia, but he meets them with grace, humor, and incredible strength. He’s able to walk, though with flexed knees, yet he never lets that slow him down or dim his spirit. Yeshua is a loving, charismatic, and obedient young man who is deeply devoted to those around him. He takes pride in doing his chores and loves to make others laugh with his playful nature.
Yeshua has a rich inner world filled with favorite colors, stories, and dreams. His cherished blue blanket, affectionately named “Puccina,” has been his constant companion since he was a baby. He enjoys reading, watching classic cartoons, and listening to all kinds of music. At school, he shines in P.E. class, where his love for movement and teamwork comes to life. When he’s relaxing, you’ll often find him playing games on his tablet or cheering for his favorite soccer team, Barcelona, and idolizing Lionel Messi’s brilliance on the field.
Though Yeshua enjoys the comfort of home more than bustling theme parks, he’s always up for a new adventure when it comes to growing and learning. A lightweight power wheelchair would open new doors for him—empowering him with greater independence and mobility. Yeshua’s story is a powerful reminder that resilience, joy, and love can shine through any obstacle. He is truly an inspiration to all who meet him.
