Meet Madelyn!
Meet four-year-old Madelyn. Sadly, she suffered from a drowning accident which caused her to have severe brain damage. She is nonverbal and completely dependent on her family for mobility and daily living skills. Madelyn remains brave and fun-loving despite her limitations.
Madelyn has several interests. She likes watching the hit show, cocomelon. She is a fan of the Disney films Moana and Frozen—her favorite song is “Let It Go.” Madelyn also loves watching her brother play football. She enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming and taking strolls. This little girl has a great personality, too. She has a silly and sassy side that keeps everyone on their toes. She even makes people laugh by pretending to be asleep. Madelyn is determined to get better, and her dedication shows during physical therapy. She turned tragedy into triumph and is a true survivor.
